Sarah's still too young to be in college when the other's are so, she's in high school!
Sarah had always had problems getting along with others. Her lack of temper control seemed to push nearly everyone away. Jimmy was always there for her, but the others seemed to merely tolerate her. When Sarah entered high school, her only real friend was Jimmy. She tried to connect with Nazz and be like one of the girls, but Nazz merely shrugged this off.
Sarah was just too much of a brute for everyone. Sarah didn't want to be left out of the crowd, so she started acting more feminine: Getting her hair styled, wearing designer clothes, and other stuff. She had given up on a lot of make-up, just because she felt she looked like a clown (and Jimmy didn't help much with the make-up, either. He always made her up like a drag queen). She eventually just settled on the simple lip gloss and mascara combo.
But still, Sarah felt alone. It really hit her when all of her older "friends" graduated high school and moved onto college. She even missed her big brother Ed, who not only let the school, but also moved into a new apartment (which Double D STILL checks on religiously...).
One day, Sarah decided that enough was enough. She wasn't the type to mope around. When she felt there was a problem, she FIXED it. And usually with brute force.
It was then Sarah realized that she didn't have to give up who she was to be girly. She could wear nice clothes and have nice hair and STILL beat up anyone who disagreed with her! At last, Sarah felt complete again, and she entered her Junior Year of high school more ready for the world then anything!
She still hangs out with her best friend Jimmy, but has begun to think of him as more then that. Whether he feels the same is still a question...
And Sarah still sees her big brother all the time (Ed could never stop looking out for his baby sister! He's just usually greeted with a fist....)
Yes, with a bat of her eyelash and her hand in a fist, the world was hers!
